Okay. ALL THE TIME, I have people reccing me things, but I never seem to rec anything back. And I always find myself thinking 'my GOD I love this' but I try not to flail because people don't always understand X_x

So, I have taken it upon myself (such a hard task, right?) to look up videos/dls of my favourite tracks from a bunch of different artists that EVERYONE SHOULD LISTEN TO, because srs, they are awesome. And broadening your horizons is never a bad thing, right? At least try out something new, you might surprise yourself XD I WOULDN'T REC YOU RUBBISH, I PROMISE XDD I've tried to find a range from each artist, so, something loud, something soft etc if possible XD

If you listen to nothing else in this whole post, this is my favourite song of all time, no question. I adored it before I lost my Dad, and since then it's just grown even closer to my heart. He loved it with a passion, the lyrics are beautiful, the music is gorgeous, and I can only ever make it to the first 'How I wish you were here' before bursting into tears every single time. So, yeah, if you don't bother with anything else, just try that one. It's only four minutes of your life. Everyone can spare four minutes, right?

I listen to a little bit of non-je stuff, some girls, a few songs from other bands, but atm those je artists are my favourites XD HAHA yes, my poor little Korean bit. I like me some SS501 & DBSK, and a couple of those Big Bang tracks you linked me, but I've not really listened to any enough to really love it, you know? Except tri-angle, I adore that track :D

I think you would like the TRAX then, they are... doing god knows what right now, but they are the rock bit of tri-angle.

You know I love it when you flail over the things you love. It doesn't really matter if I know what you're talking about or not, it's fun to learn new things!

"Wish you were here" is one of my all time favorite songs too. Though, I don't think that many people that have heard that song don't think is one of the best songs ever, so is not that big of an accomplishment to like it too ^^;; Still, such a beautiful song... Another one I really, really love that's similar to that one (also very popular) is Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven". I'm a sucker for those big, straight to the heart kinda songs, I guess, that go along with awesome guitar playing.

As for the other songs, most of them I don't know, so I'll take a look (well, I'll *listen*, more likely!) to see if I click with some of them. I already like Pink Floyd, Nickelback and Laruku ^o^ And I know Gazette (thanks to you, I like Silly Old Disco a lot ^^), Miyavi, An Cafe (They were in Chile two weeks ago, I couldn't go see them because I didn't have money, had to pay for NEWS' Koi no ABO!) and Alice Nine, so it's not like it would be unfamiliar. Same with pretty much the entire jpop section! XD I'm curious about the other English speaking bands, though. I don't know them at all!

Stairway to Heaven is beautiful ♥ Another one that it's practically impossible to not love.

Theory of a Deadman are a LOT like Nickelback, but imo better XD D'espairsRay's vocalist has a voice a bit like Shou/Hyde, very deep and melodic when he sings <3 Nightmare's vocalist also sounds gorgeous (Alumina was the theme tune for the first sort of, half of the Death Note anime). Girugamesh are sort of a cross between D'espairsRay and Nightmare XD I'm sure you've noticed my trend of loving vocalists with deep, smooth voices by now! Def Leppard are VERY 80's Brit-Rock, and I LOVE THEM LIKE BURNING XD Ah, and Tokio Hotel. They were huge for a while among the jrock-fanbase, with the younger fangirls a lot of the time, and as a result, a LOT of jrock fans really dislike them - but I've never really heard a good reason why. Just having them thrust in your face all the time I guess. But I still love them, they sound great, and that's all that matters :D The Korean stuff is good fun, too, very boppy XDD
