I'm worried and excited for him at the same time, but I'm more proud of him than I am worried for KT-TUN. He's chasing his dream, and I fully hope he succeeds. Everyone deserves to be happy.

I don't understand the timing of everything, but I'm sure there's more we haven't heard yet.

Kame's right, he should grab onto it with both hands while he's got the chance.

Also, gtfo 'KUNTT' people. Just because we support Jin doesn't mean we don't support the rest of them, with or without their A, and vice versa. I'm not just a fan of KAT-TUN; I'm a fan of the K, the A, the two Ts, the U and the N, however they're put together.

FOr serious? There are people who do that? Hey, I am by no means a big KATTUN fan, but for the love of god, thats just mean. Its a good opportunity, and while it is sad he wont be touring with the rest, it is at these times that they should get more support. *Shakes head at people*

Exactly, he's been working on his solo stuff and now he's gotten a bigger offer XD And he got the offer after he'd already arranged the tour with KAT-TUN; they told him to go, so it's not like Jin and Johnny teamed up to plan it that way XD;

You've put the whole thing in a better, more positive light than everyone else has, and that makes it seem far more like good news than bad news.

I'm sometimes amazed by the number of KAT-TUN fans who turn out to be more like Akanishi fans and completely disregard the others whenever something like this happens. It happened in 06 (I still remember a lot of "they should go on hiatus while he isn't there" and "I don't care about KAT-TUN if Akanishi's not there" comments from that time, and ugh)

Seriously, I don't understand how it's bad news. KAT-TUN are getting an Asia tour, Jin's getting LA concerts. It sounds like bloody good news to me XD; So what if they aren't doing it ~together~. If Jin can make a name in LA and KAT-TUN can expand themselves within Asia (because seriously. People who are going to go to their Asia concerts are going to know Jin, too), then they've got TWO potential markets to exploit XD; And it's far easier for one man to rise up in the States than for a slightly cheesy boyband.

Yes! I can't get into the mindset of fans who would hate Jin or KT-TUN because of the other.

So the papers are saying, yes! ♥

KAT-TUN are still 6, ne :) It's not like Johnny is intentionally splitting them up, Jin just got an amazing offer after the tour had been planned and decided, and the other 5 supported him for it. If anything, believe in their kizuna, that they trust him to go and do his best and come back to be there A when he can ♥ I hope you're okay, sweetie.

I'm happy for them, I really am, but I kind of wish Jin/JE had worked to make it so he could've participated in part of the Asia tour and still have his LA ones. I am glad he's getting this chance because it's been his dream for so long, but it still makes me sad that he won't be there when KT-TUN will be making a huge step with the Asia tour.

It's all conflicting, lol. But I will support them all no matter what. Your post made me smile, so thank you. ♥

I do agree, definitely. I wish Jin was able to tour Asia with them, but they seem to have decided this together and done what they think is best, so I'm going to support them all the way with a smile :D And if Asia is a success (which it will be), next time he'll be able to go to :)

XD; It would have been nice if they could have delayed Jin's performances for a month though, so that he could tour Asia with them, too.

I doubt they'll film Jin's shows for DVD; although there's rumours of it being broadcasted on TV, maybe because of the company it's with? I'm crossing my fingers for an international solo album in the works, though!

They might release a KT DVD? They don't seem to be touring with a new album (I doubt they've had time to put one together), but NEWS Winter Party Diamond was filmed, and that wasn't an album tour. It just took FOREVER to be released >_> I sort of hope they do, because I'm curious to see what it's like with only five, and to see how they share his lyrics out; will Nakamaru just get more again? It will be strange to see them without him, though.
