Yamapi/Jin

From one of Kame's question to Jin in previous interviews, "I'm wondering who's the one who gave you the "Jin" bracelet. (laugh)"

Pi with possessiveness issue. XD And I'd love it if you insert Kame's snide remark, "Why don't you just outrightly put "Yamashita Tomohisa's property" on that bracelet." OFC, since I'm not creative, the words can be rephrased. XD

Wake-up call (I am sorry; my titles are lame) part I

(Anonymous) 2010-04-02 12:45 am (UTC)(link)
The thing I want to graduate from!
Something I want to graduate from. Umm~ I wonder what. Probably my bad ability to wake up. I can’t really get out of my futon (laugh)

Well, it´s not like Jin is any better. But this is Pi, and he wants to help.

Maybe he just wants to spend some time with him. Mornings sound good. Now the concerts are over, he is a bit less busy. Only a bit.

The US edition II, as Pi labelled Jin´s activities in LA, is around the corner. Jin knows Pi will just miss him. He will too. Sometimes, he tells himself it won´t be that bad. There are times that the two of them don´t hang out for weeks, too busy to do anything but work and sleep. He knows better than that. It´s that thought that, eventually, if it gets too hard, or too gloomy or too serious, he can just drop—face down—on Pi´s couch. Anytime he needs to. It´s that possibility that makes not spending time together much easier. It is the security of having YamaPi watch his back.

Now, in LA, there is no couch like the one Pi has.

Jin knows only a phone call in the middle of the night won´t satisfy him when he will be away.

First of all, it won´t be middle of the night for Pi.

But this mission is all about Pi. About Jin wanting to do something for Pi. Because Pi will miss him. And until he goes away, maybe he can stock him up on some quality Jin time. And waking up Pi sounds like a plan.

It´s a phone call at first. Jin has realized a bit too late that he didn´t have any way to get into Pi´s apartment. Nakamaru, not him, had undergone fire-fighters´ training. Climbing to the balcony on 18th floor is not an option.

It´s a total failure - the first time. Pi picks up only after Jin has redialled the number three times. When he does, he mumbles something about calling back after washing his teeth. He never does. Ryo says Pi had been almost late in the morning.

Jin coos the spare key location out of Pi. He is surprised there even is one. Which super idol keeps his spare key under a door mat? Seriously. Pi just laughs and brushes it off. He asks if Jin wants to come into his apartment and steal his couch to ship it to LA. Jin may have been blabbing about there not being one like that in States.

Second time, Jin himself oversleeps. When he gets to Pi´s apartment though, the man is still asleep. All spread across his futon, hair messy, slight smile on his lips, brain still in the dream land. Jin calls out to him. Nothing happens. Then he shakes him, and Yamapi stares a bit. He then smiles even more, eyes far from clear, and turns away from Jin. The older nudges him again. Yamapi sighs and mumbles something about having a good dream and not wanting to wake up. Jin rolls him over. Yamapi looks at him for long 30 seconds with that clouded gaze before he realizes this is in fact not a dream.

“Get up now, you need to get moving,” Jin tells him. Pi looks so comfortable. Jin too would have liked to stay in bed a bid longer this morning.

“Alright,” Yamapi sighs and makes an effort to kick the covers off. That is enough for Jin and he leaves. If he is to get up early in the morning, it will be nice to actually be on time for work.

Later that day, Yamapi tells him to just keep the key.

“It has never really stayed under the doormat, I am not that crazy.”

Jin furrows his brows. At least you got out of the bed alright. He blushes only a little at the fact Pi has put the key there because of him and he trusts him enough to let him keep it. They might be great, maybe the best even, friends, but having keys from their respective places isn´t that common between friends. Is it?

“I always get up out of bed alright. But if you mean on time, then I fell asleep again after you had left.”

Wake-up call (part II)

(Anonymous) 2010-04-02 12:55 am (UTC)(link)
The third time, Jin sets up his phone and his other phone as well, placing it far away from bed. He is in Yamapi´s apartment on time.

He can´t bring himself to do it. To wake his friend, who looks so calm, relaxed and peaceful, up. Pi sleeps with curtains closed, only grey remains of light making it through the thick fabric into the room. And the light from behind the door in which Jin just stands. That light makes Yamapi´s entire figure glow, seeking the life in between the dead shapes of furniture naturally.

When Jin finally shakes himself off, he tries to be gentler. Last time, he was in a hurry. He brushes his hair away from his eyes and only rubs his arm. Jin´s fingertips seem to like the feel of Yamapi´s skin underneath them, of muscles that are again becoming prominent at all times now that Pi is boxing again. Jin runs his palm up and down Pi´s entire arm, bare because Pi sleeps in a sleeveless top. He can´t help it but continue over his shoulder, up the neck, over his jaw and into his hair. Pi hums contently, and Jin realizes what he has been doing. That was caressing right there! But Yamapi keeps on sleeping, only his mouth is smiling again. Jin wonders what he dreams about. Perv. He shakes the man one more time. Yamapi gets a hold of himself a little faster this time.

“Oh, this is a repeating pattern,” he says, his voice a little hoarse from sleep.

Jin shoots up abruptly, the tone affecting him in ways he does not remember associating with Pi ever before.

“You said you wanted to learn to wake up better. I am helping here.”

“Oh,” Pi says and lets Jin pull him into sitting.

“Now you are up, I need to go now,” Jin says and leaves. He took too long before he actually attempted the waking up.

The fourth time, Jin forgets it´s Sunday. He remembers when he sees Ryo on Yamapi´s couch. They went out last night, and he knew. He had been invited, but had a dinner with his family to attend.

He was all prepared with water gun and all, and now he is backing out of the apartment. Trying to not to draw any attention.

Even if Ryo´s mouth twitched into a smirk, he wouldn´t notice.

Wake-up call part III

(Anonymous) 2010-04-02 12:56 am (UTC)(link)
The fifth time, Jin leaves his water gun in car and is too lazy to go back to get it.

Instead, he kneels on the edge of the futon and runs his hand down Yamapi´s back. The man stirs and sighs contently.

So Jin does it again.

The reaction is the same, only Yamapi also turns his head and Jin can now see his face. He touches his cheeks because his fingertips have mind of their own and they have liked the last waking up attempt a lot. Yamapi turns around completely and leans into the touch.

Jin stares.

The younger man is still sleeping thought. By now, it is clear he is the sleeper. So Jin won´t get caught like this, right? He can get away with few simple touches. It´s just to find out how soft the skin is, purely for science purposes, to see how good exactly Yamapi´s bath soap is.

Besides, it seems Yamapi kind of enjoys this. He is nuzzling into the touch and mumbling something like encouragement to the person in his head. Jin wonders who is caressing Pi in his dream. He shakes his head to get rid of the slight lurch of his stomach. Pi´s breath is as even as when he has come in. His face loose, not one wrinkle disrupts the picture perfect like this.

Jin knows he is doomed when he finds himself leaning over his friend, his nose nuzzling Yamapi´s jaw. But it is all in the name of waking Pi up, and he will probably have no clue what did it when he really comes to himself. Yamapi has a really nice soap. His skin is really soft. It smells good too. Feels good, and Jin wonders how it would feel against his lips.

The first kiss is fleeting, somewhere around the crook of Yamapi´s neck. The next is a little longer, lips pressed next to the strap of Yamapi´s shirt. Pi stirs, and his hand comes up and into Jin´s hair. He really is an old pervert, Jin thinks. But the fingers, threading into the strands of his hair, are only encouraging. Even if it is only an illusion. The next kiss is a brush of Jin´s lips against Pi´s collarbone. Yamapi hums, but his hand is limp and heavy in Jin´s hair and his breathing is still slow and full of sleep.

It all gets only more dangerous from then on, as Jin´s lips move up Yamapi´s neck and behind his ear. Jin fits his body next to Yamapi, the younger man´s hip pressing against his leg and stomach. The hand falls limp and from Jin´s hair, but Yamapi squirms and hums, and Jin´s hands and lips and want are beyond his mind´s power. He is touching and kissing, nose nuzzling into Pi´s hair, lips tracing the neck and the hair line. Jin´s hand is daring, sneaking under Yamapi´s t-shirt, around his navel, across his abs. Pi shivers when Jin´s thumb brushes a spot right above Pi´s waistband.

Wake-up call (part IV end)

(Anonymous) 2010-04-02 12:58 am (UTC)(link)
Jin is sure that this will wake Pi up. It is a little scary because he has started this exactly with the premise of not getting caught. But then the very original idea had been to help Pi. To help his friend wake up. It´s too late anyway, his hand is in Pi´s sweat pants already. Jin chuckles a bit because Pi is not as soft as he thought he would be. He muffles his laughter into Pi´s neck, and the younger man in his hand is sporting an erection now and is pressing closer into Jin´s kisses. Yamapi´s eyes are still closed, and the small noises he makes are really the only change visible.

Jin likes the feel of Pi´s length in his palm. He marvels in the way it twitches when Jin´s tongue darts and licks a path from Pi´s jaw into his hair. He smirks a little; if the aim is to get Pi out of bed, then maybe his sweats should be spared. He stops what he´s doing, and Pi whines, pushes up for the first time, and his eyelids flutter. Jin works fast, pulling the pants out of the way, and when his hand returns to Pi´s length, the other relaxes again, goes almost lump. All of his body but this one part is still asleep. Lazy ass, Jin thinks.

It should not take much longer, and Jin is kind of getting uncomfortable, pressed against Pi´s hip, so he decides to speed up. His wrist is flying up and down the hot flesh, his nose under Pi´s jaw again, a bit ashamed, enough to resist watching Pi´s expression finally changing. He twists his wrist and there is sharp intake of breath that Jin feels through Pi´s skin. He doesn´t see the man´s eyes flying open, so his tempo doesn´t falter. He flicks his tongue out, and Pi realizes it isn´t a dream what feels good, and it isn´t his hand on his length as he imagines Jin jerking him off either. That has happened before, but, this time, Jin´s typical fragrance didn´t disappear as it should when his eyes opened and got wide because it felt so good.

Jin tightens his grip, and Yamapi suddenly moans out loud and thrusts upwards. Jin realizes the other man´s breath is suddenly fast, and he lifts his head in a moment of panic. Yamapi turns his head into the side then and stares. Jin doesn´t know what to say or do. But he knows that if it had been the other way around, no matter how awkward it could get afterwards, he wouldn´t have wanted Pi to stop now.

“Good morning,” he breathes out and pushes his thumb against the slit of Pi´s cock. The other man cries out and comes hot and hard, body shuddering with shock and orgasm.

“Eww . . .” Jin says, his hand sticky, and wipes it into the sheets. “Now you really have to get up,” he says, tries to play it light and funny. It´s just one hand job, he didn´t even kiss . . .

His trail of thoughts freezes. Pi is pressing his lips against his, and Pi´s tongue is out to get his own because, well, Jin has been talking.

It seems like eternity until Pi seems content enough to pull away. Jin can´t close his eyes, can´t take them off Pi´s eyelashes because that is about all he sees, the other man´s eyes have closed again. But he kisses back because it feels good, and he might have wanted to do this anyway.

“Well this is what one might consider a wake-up call,” Pi growls eventually. Then he wrinkles his nose. “But you know you could have spared my sheets.”

“Getting them dirty was kind of the point,” Jin says and ponders about this all.

Pi sighs, all pained and put off, and gets up from bed. “I´m taking a shower.”

“I should go,” Jin says. Maybe not addressing this will work.

“Are you going to walk outside of here with that hard on?” Pi asks. He can´t possibly see it under the covers. Jin doesn´t understand.

“You were rubbing against my hip, you know,” Yamapi supplies.

“Oh . . .” Now this might be a bit embarrassing even for Jin.

“Jin” Pi´s soft voice catches his attention, interrupts his thoughts. “If you are willing to help me wash my back, I might be willing to help you out too,” he says.

Jin decides that they can talk all they want when they are properly up and conscious. He sprints up to Pi, pecks his lips quickly and makes it to the shower even before Pi does.

end

I am sorry it wouldn´t fit into 3 boxes only and I guess I was done before they were . . .

Ai for You [PG, part 1/5]

(Anonymous) 2010-04-02 08:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Jin's never bothered with his neighbours all that much. He's not good with strangers, doesn't have the social skills necessary to make meaningless conversation with someone he barely knows, and most of all, he doesn't particularly want to. They're just people who happen to have apartments in the same building as him; all it proves is that they have good taste in living quarters.

But now, he's getting desperate. His family are out of town, out of the country, off holidaying somewhere far more exotic than Tokyo, and his friends - his wonderful, devoted, we'll-do-anything-we-can-to-help-since-she-left-you-with-a-baby friends - are working, are sick, are busy washing their hair, are full of bullshit.

With a frustrated wail, he knocks his head back against the wall, and winces when it hurts.

"Daddy?"

Jin softens immediately, sinking to his knees and holding out his arms to the little girl he loves above everything and anything else.

"Hey, baby," he murmurs softly, and lifts her up as he stands. She giggles as the floor disappears beneath her, and already he feels better.

That doesn't change that he's late, though, and he's going to get fired if he messes up again. There's only so much slack the company will cut him, and it's not nearly enough to cover for having a five-year-old daughter.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, he supposes as he gathers up Ai-chan's favourite DVDs and the battered teddy sitting in one corner of the couch. Kuma's arm was falling off, the stuffing leaking out of the hole, but he was a little scared to take a needle to it himself in case he ended up doing more damage than good.

With Ai-chan on one hip and her entertainment under his other arm, Jin heads out into the hall.

"I'm sorry to do this to you, baby, but Daddy has to go to work, okay? I won't be long, I promise, then maybe we can go to the park, hm?"

The pout that had been threatening to turn into full-on tears is gone in the face of her excitement, and she nods with a grin, "Un! Where are we going?"

"To find somewhere for you to stay for a little while," Jin explains, facing the door to the left of their apartment. He looks between the doorbell and his arms, full of child and toys, then back again. "Push the button for me, sweetie?"

More than happy to press anything that might make a noise, Jin lifts Ai closer so that she can reach, and he hears the echo of the bell trilling behind the door. They wait, and wait, but no-one comes, and with a sigh he moves across to the other side.

This time, someone answers, but he's got more ink than skin and isn't wearing nearly enough clothes for Jin's liking. With a nod of apology, and rapidly running out of doors to knock on, his relief is almost palpable when there is someone home in apartment opposite, and he looks relatively friendly.

"Is everything okay?" The other man asks with a smile that Jin makes sure reaches his eyes.

Ai for You [PG, part 2/5]

(Anonymous) 2010-04-02 08:52 pm (UTC)(link)
"Hey, uh, my name's Akanishi, and this is my daughter, Ai, we live opposite you?"

"Oh, hi! I'm Yamashita." He's still smiling, a little wider now, and bows politely before offering a hand to Ai, which she shakes with all the firm, awkward exuberance of a child, "Did you want to come in?"

Jin struggles to bow in return, and Yamashita's hands shoot out to catch the precarious stack of DVDs under Jin's arm.

"Thanks," Jin flushes awkwardly. "Um, no, but I was wondering if I could ask you a really huge favour..."

"Babysitter?" Yamashita asks, taking Ai's things from under Jin's arm and watching with eyes that sparkle knowingly.

Jin's cheeks burn a little redder, "Yeah, actually, I... I'm really sorry to ask it of you and I wouldn't do it if I had another choice and I hate leaving her with someone I don't know but-but if I get fired then I can't take care of her and then we'll be out on the streets because my parents don't have room and-"

"It's fine," Yamashita silences him, "No problem at all. Ai-chan can stay here with me and we can eat lots of yummy things while she tells me all your deepest, darkest secrets until you get back. Are you allergic to anything, Ai-chan?" He's looking at Ai when he speaks, and Jin can't help but like him, especially when she giggles excitedly and shakes her head. She's always been a quiet little thing, much like her mother; far more prone to hiding her face in his neck when presented with new people than even looking at them, so this, Jin thinks, is already a good start.

-

When he comes home that night, having spent the whole afternoon distracted and hating himself for leaving his baby girl with a stranger, Jin's heart starts to race when Yamashita doesn't answer the door the moment he rings the bell. What if he'd run off with her, what if he'd taken her away and Jin would never see her again? What if he was really some part of a drug ring, and they were going to bring her up as an addict while she's too young to know better? What if-

There's a laugh from inside, high and sweet and melodic, followed by a war cry that may or may not have come from a man before the door is flung open. Yamashita is rather more dishevelled than he had been earlier, hair sticking up around his head in disarray, and Jin feels a smile tugging at his lips.

"Daddy!" Ai cries, flying down the corridor to throw her arms around Jin's legs, and he picks her up with a grin.

"Having a good time?" She nods, eyes alight in a way Jin's not used to seeing when other people are around, but then Yamashita's letting out another cry of success and diving behind a pile of cushions and blankets in one corner of the living room.

"Victory!" He declares triumphantly, and Ai shrieks and wriggles until Jin puts her down.

"Nooo!" She wails, all but flying across the room to leap on top of the other man, and Yamashita laughs loudly, launching a tickle-war on the loser.

Ai for You [PG, part 3/5]

(Anonymous) 2010-04-02 08:59 pm (UTC)(link)
"Daddy?" She asks one night as he's putting her to bed, Kuma-kun's mended arm proudly on display now that the bandage was gone.

"Hm?" Jin murmurs, tucking the covers in around her.

"When are we going to go and see Pi again?"

"Who's Pi, sweetie?"

"Yamapi," she says surely, and then, like it's the most obvious thing in the world, "The nii-san across the hall."

Jin's hand falters where it's brushing her long, dark hair away from her face and tucking it behind her ears, "Yamashita?"

She nods, "Un. He said his friends call him Yamapi, but because I'm special I can just call him Pi."

Jin's heard thuds a little harder, and he kisses her on the forehead, "Soon, baby. Soon."

Ai for You [PG, part 4/5]

(Anonymous) 2010-04-02 09:00 pm (UTC)(link)
At first, Jin thinks it's only polite to give Yamashita some alone time after they've invaded his life every day for the past few weeks, and then it's gone a little too long for him to feel comfortable just crossing the hall and knocking on the door. The longer he waits, the harder it gets, until three weeks have passed and Jin wonders if Yamashita was just glad to be rid of them, wonders if there was really any heart behind all the things he'd said to Ai. He can't forget though, not with the way Ai talks about him every day, about whether Pi-niisan would like what she'd drawn at school, if Pi-niisan would have enjoyed their class field trip to the temple, if Pi-niisan would prefer fish for dinner, like her, or chicken, like Daddy.

It takes him by complete surprise when he opens his door one evening to take the trash out, and finds Yamashita stood outside, hand raised to push the bell.

"I'm home!" The other man grins, and Jin automatically welcomes him back before it really sinks in.

"You left?"

Yamashita nods, "I told you I'd be away, I left you that note, remember?"

"You did?" Jin frowns, silent for a long moment before he remembers sifting through his junk mail rather haphazardly one morning and dumping it on the counter to be dealt with later. Much later, it seems, because the pile is still there, untouched.

"Oh! The note, right, o-of course..."

"You didn't get the note, did you?"

Jin's never been able to lie well, so he just looks away instead.

"Bakanishi," Yamashita smiles, and Jin's jaw drops, affronted for the split second it takes the other man to close the door behind him and throw his arm around Jin's shoulder, "Did you think I'd just abandoned you?"

"No!" Jin answers too quickly, and can feel his cheeks burning already, "N-not me..."

"Pi!"

Ai's grin looks wide enough to hurt as she all but skips towards them, and Yamashita releases Jin to scoop her up and spin her around in a circle, telling her how silly and hopeless her Daddy is over her giggles.

When the pair of them have calmed down, Yamashita tells Jin about his trip whilst happily looking through all of Ai's drawings from the past few weeks, listening to her explanations of each one in one ear and Jin's occasional comments in the other. It's effortless, like he was born to multitask, and Jin tries not to smile as the idea of Yamashita being the woman in this relationship crosses his mind.

Eventually, though, Yamashita misses something Ai says, and his eyes twinkle with amusement as she berates him with a disapproving look on her face. His apologies sound genuine, though, and Jin stands.

Ai for You [PG, part 5/5]

(Anonymous) 2010-04-02 09:00 pm (UTC)(link)
"Chinese or Italian... You're the one that's been away, what do you fancy, Pi?"

Yamapi turns to look at him with raised eyebrows, and Jin freezes.

"Sorry! S-Sorry, I, uh. Ai-chan's always saying it and I guess it just-"

Yamapi shushes him with a shake of his head. "I like it," he says, eyes still bright, and Jin's mouth twitches in return.

They decide on pizza. It's the weekend tomorrow, so Jin doesn't mind Ai staying up a little later than usual to watch movies with them, and it's far easier to handle a slice of pizza with both eyes on the television than a pair of chopsticks. Jin leaves them both still looking through Ai's artwork, his daughter far happier now that she's got all of Yamapi's attention to herself.

The pizza menu is on top of the stack of mail on the kitchen counter, and with a glance behind him to check they're still engrossed, Jin leafs through it until he finds Yamapi's note, hastily scrawled on a sheet of lined paper torn from a notebook.

Jin,

Going to Hokkaido for a few weeks for work.

Sorry I didn't tell you properly - you're out and it's all happened really last minute.

Tell Ai-chan I'm sorry and make sure she knows that Kuma-kun's arm still needs lots of rest!

Try not to miss me too much!

- Yamashita

Between the last two lines, there's something else that Yamapi's scribbled through, over and over until it's all but illegible, but if Jin holds it up to the light and squints his eyes just so, he can just about make it out.

I know I'll miss you.

“Hey.”

Tomohisa jumped, the box in his arms slipping as the voice startled him. Hands took hold of the box, steadying him as he regained his hold on the cardboard.

“Sorry.” The voice said sheepishly, “You looked like you needed help.”

When the hands moved from the box, Tomohisa walked into his apartment, intent on ignoring the man. Which, of course failed when the other followed him; “My name’s Jin.” He said. “I’m your new neighbor.”

Tomohisa placed the box, “Listen Jin-” whatever he was about to say died on his tongue when he turned around, “Uhm…”

Jin was taller than him, dark eyes peered at him from behind a set of glasses; skin tanned and shoulders broad; Tomohisa fell in love right then.

“Excuse me…?” he said, concern lacing his voice, “Are you alright…?”

He snapped out of it, smiling at Jin, “I’m fine.” He said. “Thank you for offering, really, Jin. But this is the last box.” He forced the words out, feeling like some kind of high school girl turning down her crush.

Jin just smiled, “It’s alright. Maybe we could meet for lunch, or something?”

“That’d be great!” Tomohisa winced at how over-enthusiastic he sounded. “Tomorrow, maybe?”

The smile on Jin’s face widened, “Tomorrow sounds great!” he said loudly, like a little kid, almost.

Tomohisa smiled at the other, “Great.” He said. “I’m Tomohisa, by the way. Yamashita Tomohisa.”

Jin held his hand out, “Akanishi Jin. I’ll see you tomorrow, around lunchtime?”

Tomohisa nodded and shook his hand, “Tomorrow.” He promised.

Later that night, when Jin was gone, Tomohisa sat on the couch and picked his phone up, “Ryo.” He said as soon as the other picked up, “I’m in love.”

-

“So this is the guy you were talking to me about last night.” Ryo said loudly, just as Tomohisa entered the café with Jin.

Jin looked over at Tomohisa, confusion written across his face, “Is he talking to you?”

Tomohisa put on a stiff smile, “I’ll be right back.” He said, walking over towards the counter, where a short dark-haired man stood.

Jin watched them curiously as they talked quietly, the short man looking over at him every few minutes, as if sizing him up.

When Tomohisa returned to him, he led them to a booth. “Sorry about that.” He said.

Jin shook his head, “It’s alright.” He said, smiling at Tomohisa again, as if forgetting about what had just taken place. Tomohisa’s stomach did a flip. “So, what’s good here?” Jin asked, looking expectantly at him, tilting his head slightly, attentively.

“U-uhm…”

“The miso.” Ryo cut through, setting two sets of chopsticks down onto the table. “It’s the best thing here, really. Also the most romantic thing here.” He snickered.

Tomohisa glared up at Ryo, “Shut up, Nishikido. Go bother Ueda. Or I’ll tell him you called his cooking shit.”

“Like I’m scared of him,” muttered the shorter man, “Just give me your damn order, so I can go back to sleeping.”

Jin watched their exchange, holding back the urge to laugh.

“What the hell are you grinning about?” the shorter asked, glaring at Jin, who held his hands up.

“Nothing.” He said. “I was just going to say that miso sounded fine.” He looked over at Tomohisa, “What about you?”

He nodded his head in agreement, “Two bowls of miso, Ryo-chan.” He grinned, “And two beers.”

Ryo rolled his eyes, “Right.” He deadpanned. “Your orders will be right out, sirs.”

Tomohisa looked at Jin apologetically when Ryo left, “Sorry about him. He’s an asshole sometimes.” Jin shook his head with a smile, “It’s alright.” He said. “My friends are the same way around new people.”

They grew silent when Ryo set two glasses of beer down in front of them, before silently stalking away.

“What do you do for a living?” Jin asked randomly, only to smack his head when he realized how stupid the question sounded, “Sorry.” He said, “That was stupid. You don’t have to answer.”

Tomohisa laughed, “Jin, it’s alright.” He said, “I work here.” He motioned to the café, “Well, I manage here. I work with the finances and stuff. I fill in right now. We're short one employee, and our boss is waiting for the application for the new guy to go through before he hires him."

“So that’s why you suggested here.” He grinned.

Tomohisa stuck his tongue out at Jin childishly, “I really wanted to win you over with Ueda’s miso.” He teased the other.

Jin laughed, “Lucky for you, I’m easily won over by food.”

Ryo rolled his eyes and set two bowls down in front of them, “You two are disgusting.” He glared at Jin, then at Tomohisa. “For this, Yamashita, you better tip me damn well.”

After eating, Tomohisa and Jin left the café. Tomohisa grinned when he heard Ryo’s loud screech of bitch! This isn’t a fucking tip! They laughed all the way back to the complex, Tomohisa leaning on Jin for support each time he thought about the pictures he’d left.

“He’s going to get you back for that, you know.” Jin said as they stood in front of his door.

Tomohisa shrugged, “It was worth it, though.” He grinned.

Silence settled over them, and Tomohisa watched Jin’s profile as the taller looked out at the sky, “Hey Jin?”

“Hm?”

“Did Ueda’s miso win you over?” he asked, tilting his head.

“No.”

Tomohisa could feel his heartbreak as Jin turned toward him, all hopes of them even having a relationship crushing as—oh shit!

“Does that answer your question?” Jin asked, grinning at Tomohisa as he pulled away from the chaste kiss.

Nodding dumbly, Tomohisa let Jin drag him into his apartment.

Later that night, Tomohisa looked over at Jin's phone when he heard it vibrate. Picking it up, his eyes widened at the text.

Sleeping with employees is forbidden, Yamashita. Don't let it interfere with your work and I won't tell.

He looked over at Jin, his eyes going even wider when he realized that Jin was the new guy that his boss had mentioned.

Ryo, would never let him live this down. Ever.

Okay, this is incredibly silly. I hope you like it though, anon!
